J.D. Shelburne is that rare artist for whom the dream, the life, and the music have all come together.
“I’ve been blessed enough to hit that sweet spot,” says the lanky Kentucky native, whose music channels his small-town roots amid his journey from regional star to the national stage. “And the best part is, I have the truest and most loyal fans in the world, and they’ve been with me every step of the way.”
J.D.’s journey has taken him from Taylorsville, Kentucky, to the iTunes Country Top Ten, landed him on CMT and the Circle Network, found him opening for ZZ Top, Miranda Lambert, and Marty Stuart, put him on the cover of Kentucky’s Official Visitor’s Guide, and made national news for the sheer size and exuberance of a crowd numbering in the tens of thousands at one of his hometown concerts.
Now, with his latest album, Neon Hallelujah, J.D. takes another major leap forward, one that locks down his position as one of modern country’s most exciting and accomplished singers.
Eric Paslay is a platinum-selling singer/songwriter with a sound rooted in relatable and catchy Nashville-style contemporary country. After finding mainstream success in 2011 with "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," a song he co-penned for Jake Owen, Paslay struck gold on his own with his 2014 self-titled debut, which included the hits "Friday Night," "Song About a Girl," and "She Don't Love You." The following year he earned a Grammy nomination for his appearance (with Dierks Bentley) on Charles Kelley's "The Driver," and in 2017, he issued The Work Tapes EP. His sophomore long-player, Nice Guy, appeared in 2020, and in 2022, he co-penned Keith Urban's "Wild Hearts" and released Even If It Breaks Your Barefoot Friday Night, a collection of newly recorded versions of some of his biggest hits. In addition to his solo work, Paslay has written number-one hits for Rascal Flatts, Love and Theft, and the Eli Young Band.
Charles "Chip" Esten is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Esten is best known for his roles as Deacon Claybourne on CMT's NASHVILLE and as Ward Cameron on NETFLIX's OUTER BANKS. Esten has been honored to perform across the US, UK, and Germany for the past several years, including the Grand Ole Opry, the historic Ryman auditorium and the Royal Albert Hall. In addition, he has performed at festivals including Stagecoach, the CMAs, Route 91, C2C, and CMC. His most recent single “Sweet Summer Saturday Night” was released in August 2020. He continues to write and record music with over 9.5 million streams to date, earning a Guinness World Record in 2017 for releasing 54 original songs (available on iTunes, and on Spotify) once a week, for 54 consecutive weeks.
After almost a decade as a major-label artist, prolific Nashville hitmaker Jerrod Niemann has put his heart on his sleeve like never before with the patriotic anthem, “Old Glory.” Describing the resolute ballad as “100 percent heart, zero percent politics,” the singer-songwriter wrote the track in honor of U.S. soldiers following the 2017 Tongo Tongo ambush in Niger. A veteran of multiple USO Tours, Niemann knew how much those heroes were willing to sacrifice in the name of duty – from missing their children’s first steps and soccer games to holidays, anniversaries and so much more. He performed “Old Glory” live for the first time during that year’s USO Holiday Tour, and is now bringing it to the American public. Also in 2017, Niemann dug deep into his journey for critically-acclaimed album THIS RIDE – which includes the feel-good jam, “I Got This,” the uplifting duet “A Little More Love” (with Lee Brice) and the classy romance of “God Made a Woman.” Known for clever wordplay and attention-grabbing lyrics, the engaging singer-songwriter topped Country charts with his PLATINUM-certified anthem “Drink to That All Night,” a multi-week #1 from the 2014 album HIGH NOON – on which he co-wrote eight of the 12 tracks. Niemann first burst onto the scene in 2010 with his #1 major-label debut, JUDGE JERROD & THE HUNG JURY, which skyrocketed on the strength of his PLATINUM-certified #1 smash “Lover, Lover” and GOLD-certified Top 5 “What Do You Want.” His second release, FREE THE MUSIC, included Top 15 “Shinin’ On Me” and poignant ballad “Only God Could Love You More.” From Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and CMT Award nominations, to headlining and touring with some of Country’s hottest acts – Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban – Niemann continues to make his mark by creatively pushing boundaries while still offering a sincere nod to the legends before him.
Craig Campbell has long been admired for his patience and persistence on the road less travelled. A consistent balancing act of traditional values and modern industry trends, Campbell is also considered by many to be one of the most talented yet under the radar stars, across all genres. And now, his highly anticipated single, “It’s About Time”, marks Campbell’s first independent release since parting ways with his former label, Broken Bow Records. It also highlights the first track the charismatic charmer has co-produced, along with playing acoustic guitar and piano, and singing his own harmonies. But this song is no stranger to the set list. In fact, Campbell has seized every opportunity in the last two years to deliver this sultry ballad to a captivated audience with just his airtight vocals and a piano. His first single, the sentimental ballad “Family Man”, hit the top 15 on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart in 2011. “Outta My Head” also cracked the top 15, while the catchy tune “Fish” garnered more than 10 million on demand streams. His 2014 breakout hit “Keep ThemKisses Comin’” was on its way up the charts when Campbell got the unexpected call that after two albums and a string of hits, Bigger Picture had closed. However, Campbell and his devoted team continued to press radio stations around the country, so much so that the single ended an impressive run well inside the Top 10, which is unheard of for a song with no financial backing. Another door opened for Campbell in the form of Red Bow Records, a division of the Broken Bow umbrella. “Tomorrow Tonight” made it into the top 40, followed by perhaps his most poignant and well known work to date, “Outskirts of Heaven.” “Outskirts” took on a life of its own, showcasing Campbell’s vulnerability and deep rooted faith. The uplifting and remarkably personal ballad was praised by Rolling Stoneand Taste of Country, among others.
