Number 15 — named after Kentucky being the 15th state to join the Union — is the latest bar and music venue to hit Whiskey Row.
Scheduled to open this spring, the “social hall” is located at 121 W. Main St. in a building that was previously the last vacant building on Whiskey Row.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Downtown Louisville is about to have a new bourbon spot unlike any other.
Soon, when you visit Louisville's Whiskey Row, you'll have a brand new social hall to visit — Number 15. It will be located between O'Sheas and Old Forester. Guests will enter on West Main Street and have five floors to explore.
"We're combining the best things of the bluegrass state, all into one roof," Spencer Fronk said. "We're all about celebrating states. Number 15 ... Kentucky being the 15th state, and what better place to do it than in this old W.L. Weller building back in the 1880s."
It was important for Numbers Holding Co. to find the right building before it outlined the concept for Number 15.
That’s according to Spencer Fronk, CEO of Numbers Holding Co. The group is bringing Number 15 to 121 W. Main St. on Whiskey Row, in the 20,000-square-foot historic W.L. Weller Building.
The new Whiskey Row social hall, Number 15, is nearing completion of the renovations at historic 121 West Main St. and will open to the public. The Courier Journal popped in during the final weeks of construction to get an idea of what this unique entertainment venue will offer when doors this spring.
